Chiswick Chickens
Sandy Shepherd is known locally as ‘the egg lady’. She looks after 27 hens on an allotment only a mile from the centre of Hammersmith and sells the eggs at the Chiswick Horticultural Society shop on Sunday mornings. The Black Rocks eat a varied diet including pasta and grapes with garlic powder and cod liver oil in their corn.
